We will incorporate sustainability and social responsibility in accordance with the latest requirements tailored to the most important aspects of sustainability for your company, your business goals and your business relations.
Each company requires a different approach when it comes to sustainability and social responsibility strategy. Smaller companies need to focus on the offer of relevant products, legal requirements and the wellbeing of their employees. Medium and large size businesses have an increased amount of responsibility toward their stakeholders. They can amend their business model as they have more resources and impact on others. We offer a step-by-step process, so the implementation is understandable for everyone: the management, the employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors. We can offer 8 sustainability steps and depending on the needs of the company, all of them or some of them can be implemented.
1. Assessment
We will assess what sustainable practices are already applied in the way company operates in accordance with different standards and guidelines. Together with the management team, we will choose the most applicable ones to aim for.
2. Stakeholders
At the core of appropriate sustainability strategy (GRI and ISO 26000 and others) is the assessment of the supply chain and stakeholders. Business relationship with these companies or persons will affect the strategy. It needs to be carefully analysed to reduce any risk to sustainability of the company.
3. Prioritization
Not all areas of sustainability will be equally critical and affordable for the company. Working with management we will prioritise and focus on the most impactful and meaningful aspects to implement positive change in the way company performs sustainably, socially and economically.
4. Sustainability measuring tools
Measuring the sustainability is crucial in its attempts to consciously reduce the footprint and increase the handprint. The choice of measuring tools will impact trustworthiness of the company.
5. Development or Implementation of sustainability strategy
The development and / or implementation of the sustainability strategy and it’s integration into the general strategy of the business will make the most meaningful change. It will be connected to the economic goals, including profit and will focus on reducing the negative social and environmental impact whilst increasing the positive aspects. When developing the sustainability strategy therefore it’s advisable to include and consult middle to higher management.
6. Integration of the Strategy
To implement sustainability strategy successfully, it will need to be integrated into the business process in accordance with KPI, KRI with a reward system for the involved employees. Critical role in realisation of the strategy is data gathering and positive involvement of the employees.
7. Sustainability and corporate responsibility on supply chain
Ability to apply companies’ values on their supply chain demonstrates their decision-making skills and completion based on values and aims created by their sustainability strategy. In creating management and relationships with the supply chain, the company can reduce risks to their reputation and economic growth.
8. Non-financial information reports and sustainability reports
The choice of the guidelines to adhere to (GRI, ESG, SDG’s etc) will depend on how the company would like to represent itself to the wider public and their stakeholders and what is their most important message to them. It will be chosen in accordance with the most effective way they can report on their aims, plans, goals and the results.
